This House Is Not A Home: Meet The Five Men That Have Declared War Against Your Uterus

Don’t you hate when a problem you thought was solved pops back up like a herpes outbreak? That’s how I feel about issue of abortion. I thought our society had resolved this issue. Unfortunately, much like herpes, every now and then there is a bumpy patch that you need to clear up with some Abreva.

Back in November, the people voted to elect many new politicians into very powerful positions in our government. (While I did not vote for any of these people, I very much respect the ebb and flow of American politics.) These politicians, all of GOP stock, have their sights set on rolling back our biological freedoms faster than Wal-Mart rolls back prices. These are people you need to keep your eyes on, so I thought I should introduce you. Rather than editorializing I’m going to let their voting records speak for themselves.

John Boehner (R-Ohio) our new Speaker of the House taking over for Nancy Pelosi. His current push to redefine rape is something to watch out for.

However, with the backing of John Boehner and Joe Pitts he has been able to introduce the “No Tax Payer Funding for Abortion Act”, which seeks to make the Hyde Amendment (no Medicaid coverage for abortions) permanent.

Steve Chabot (R-Ohio) he is not new to the House either but after a being forced to sit out a cycle. He was reelected in 2010. In 2006 he was quoted as saying, "The problem with the health exception [for abortions] is we have a number of abortionists who have testified that any pregnancy is a risk to a woman's health. So if you have a health exception in there, in essence, you have a phony partial-birth abortion ban."

These five men have declared war on you and your uterus. If you see no problem with anything I have shown you, then move along. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me and do not allow these men to take away your rights.
